Join us for a casual morning of dabbling in the art of calligraphy with Lona Lee
Do you have pens that you wish you knew how to use? A fountain pen, a glass pen, a pointed nib, a broad edge nib, maybe a Sharpie? Whatever the tool, bring them in. We will try them all. At the very least, bring your favorite pencil! This workshop is to expose you to what’s out there in the beautiful world of calligraphy and get you interested in dabbling further with the tools that interest you. Towards the end, we will try our hand at addressing envelopes. Each person will leave with an ink filled Pilot Parallel Pen and a set of envelopes to practice more at home.

About The Artist: Lona Lee is a calligrapher based in Los Angeles. After attending her first calligraphy workshop in 2019 and taking countless online classes, her obsession with calligraphy gradually unfolded. In 2024, she became one of three full time calligraphers with the County of Los Angeles Board of Supervisors.
