Join us on Saturday, February 21, 2026, as we embark on a creative journey with artist Erin Pieronek. Erin will introduce you to the mesmerizing art of paper marbling, guiding you through its intricate techniques and sharing the rich, fascinating history behind this captivating craft.

On Sunday, February 22, 2026, Jenn Graves will start the day by guiding the group with preparing materials and sorting through our freshly marbled papers, carefully selecting a few to transform into stunning books. After lunch, more magic begins as we delve into the hands-on meditative art of bookbinding, where you'll learn how to create a beautiful, uniquely designed handcrafted journal or sketchbook.

 The workshop runs from 10 AM to 4 PM on both days, allowing ample time for exploration and creativity, with a lunch break to refuel. Your workshop fee includes two full days of expert instruction, all the necessary materials, and light refreshments to keep your energy up. By the end of the weekend, you’ll leave with a collection of unique marbled papers and a beautifully handbound journal to cherish. 

Please be aware that this workshop is non-refundable. With a maximum of 6 participants, we ensure a personalized experience, and the workshop will only run if a minimum of 4 participants register. If the minimum is not met, we will promptly issue a full refund.

Erin Pieronek is a Los Angeles based artist and proprietress of Exude with Joy. She received her undergrad at Loyola Marymount University in Theatre Arts. Later she returned to Otis School of Art and Design pivoting to visual arts. In 2015 she happened upon a video of a local marbling artist and teacher.  After taking the class she never looked back. Erin’s been making the world more colorful ever since.

Jennifer (Jenn) Graves is a Los Angeles based letterpress printer, book artist, and educator whose work explores how material, process, and form shape the stories we tell. Rooted in the tactile traditions of print and book arts, her practice moves between craft and concept. Her artist’s books and printed works have been exhibited nationally and internationally. As an educator, Jenn teaches Book Projects at Otis College of Art and Design and leads workshops at various entities, including her studio, SCRAPScollective.
